Removing the Surf Canyon extension

To delete the extension from Firefox

Open Firefox and select "Tools" from the top menu. Select "Add-ons", then select "Extensions", and then click the "uninstall" button next to Surf Canyon. Quit Firefox by selecting "Exit" from Firefox's "File" menu. If you are on Windows, go to the Control Panel and double-click "Programs and Features". If you see a program that has the value "Surf Canyon" in the Publisher field, right-click on that program and select "Uninstall" from the right-click menu.

To delete the extension from Internet Explorer

Exit IE. Then open the Windows "Control Panel" and select "Programs and Features". Right-click on "Search Manager Service" and select "uninstall".

To delete the extension from Google Chrome

Click the "Customize and control Google Chrome" wrench icon in the upper right-hand corner. Select "Tools" and then "Extensions." Then click the trash can icon to the right of Surf Canyon. If you are on Windows, go to the Control Panel and double-click "Programs and Features". If you see a program that has the value "Surf Canyon" in the Publisher field, right-click on that program and select "Uninstall" from the right-click menu.
